On 19 February 2025, the Awati Mindalan NGO and the NMDC met with the General Director of Educational Planning and the Director of Planning at the Ministry of Education to propose a project for the improvement of childhood nutrition at schools in the Kurdistan Region. During the meeting, a range of related topics were discussed based on the agreement that good nutrition is fundamental to learning and overall development, and by prioritizing access to healthy food in schools, we are investing in the future of all children in the region. We look forward to the next steps of this important project.

کۆبوونەوەی خۆراکی منداڵان له وه زاره تی پەروەردە
لە 19ی شوباتی 2025، ڕێکخراوی ناحکومی ئاواتی منداڵان و NMDC لەگەڵ بەڕێوەبەری گشتی پلاندانانی پەروەردە و بەڕێوەبەری پلاندانان لە وەزارەتی پەروەردە کۆبوونەوە بۆ پێشنیارکردنی پڕۆژەیەک بۆ باشترکردنی خۆراکی منداڵان لە قوتابخانەکانی هەرێمی کوردستان. لە کۆبوونەوەکەدا، کۆمەڵێک بابەتی پەیوەندیدار تاوتوێکران لەسەر بنەمای ئەو ڕێککەوتنەی کە خۆراکی باش بنچینەیە بۆ فێربوون و گەشەپێدانی گشتی، هەروەها بە پێدانی ئەولەویەتی دەستگەیشتن بە خۆراکی تەندروست لە قوتابخانەکاندا، ئێمە وەبەرهێنان لە داهاتووی هەموو منداڵانی ناوچەکە دەکەین. چاوەڕێی هەنگاوەکانی داهاتووی ئەم پڕۆژە گرنگە دەکەین.
